J.M.Designs

Jonathan Matthews is an experienced cabinet maker running J.M.Designs. This is an established business with a workshop just outside Dorchester. At J M Designs we work to the client's specifications to design and make bespoke pieces. We use a wide range of European hardwoods and undertake marquetry and inlay work. Recent commissions include TV/media unit, keepsake box, kitchen, fitted bookcase with storage. These are just a few examples of what we can make. The workshop is 0.5 mile outside Dorchester on The Old Sherborne Road, opposite the Sun Inn pub.
