Liz Somerville and Emily Myers
Liz makes hand-coloured linocut, and more recently, woodcut prints. Inspired by Ravilious, Nash and Bawden, her imagery concentrates on the rolling landscape, and fast disappearing coastline of Dorset. She works from a studio in a small village with a very good pub in the heart of west Dorset.
Emily Myers is a studio potter who makes well proportioned and distinctive pieces inspired by diverse influences; the natural geometry of a seed-head or the precision of a metal cog. She currently works with two contrasting clays: earthy red stoneware and pure white porcelain. She is a Fellow of the Craft Potters Association
From Dorchester take A37 towards Yeovil. Turn left towards Cattistock 2 miles after Grimstone. Studio is on right after right-hand bend past church.
