Jo Burchell

Jo trained at Central Saint Martins in London and now sculpts in barbed wire, steel and copper.
Tracing the muscles and sinews of the animals that are her subject matter, these sculptures are fluid and energetic. Life sized for the majority and on first viewing figuratively accurate, they are loose enough in their drawing to capture the essence of the animal and portray a presence without dominating a space, just as if you'd stumbled upon them in the woods or caught a glimpse of them on the horizon.Pretty garden, friendly pub in village, Prices £400-£10,000.
