Charles Hallsworth

You are invited to the relaxed ambience of Charles Hallsworth's oil painting exhibition at Studio 6 in St Michael's Studio in the rope-factory, Bridport. His paintings are inspired by local landscape, harbours and coastline.

The work captures a moment and yet reflects the ever-changing light in its multiitudinous guises providing an impression of timelessness. The paintings have a poetry and rythym that expresses the relationship between their elements with a feeling of peacefulness and tranquility.

He demonstrates his observational and drawing skill through charcoal life drawings and bird images. A colourful range of prints, cards and bookmarks are also available.
