Carolyn Finch and Sally Ridout

A studio overlooking the attractive garden of Lark Rise, a cottage in the pretty village of Stourton Caundle, home of the Trooper Inn.

Carolyn's paintings are inspired by local landscapes and seascapes particularly the Dorset coast. She has exhibited in numerous exhibitions and has featured in a variety of publications. Carolyn paints a diverse range of subjects in gouache and oil.

Sally, an art teacher, paints West Country landscapes of ancient hill-forts, trails and patchwork fields in a very personal, semi abstract style. She works in both large and small formats, using oils, acrylics and pastels.

From Sturminster Newton on A357, left onto Waterloo Lane, left into Cat Lane. Lark Rise 3rd on left after small bridge. Village straight on.

Accessibility
Studio up one flight of stairs. Parking on drive and in village.
