Marilyn Allis

Marilyn works from her studio, overlooking the River Allen, in Wimborne. Where she creates loose, energetic, impressionistic water colours, capturing the atmosphere of the scene whether it be street musicians, animals, street scenes or chickens. Collage, acrylic inks, mixed media and experimental works are also on display. She regularly teaches and demonstrates at her own workshops, as well as for art societies and art groups. She has just released her first book ‘People aren’t scary (really)’ water colour, accompanied with a DVD. ‘Animals on the loose’, in mixed media to follow She has also made several teaching programs for TV.
