The Trenchard Studio

The Trenchard Studio was originally set up as a teaching group in 1999. From this group of established and emerging artists, seven are exhibiting here showing a range of their new work.

Patricia Barbor: Studied at Slade summer school and Prince's Drawing School. Oil paintings, figures and still life.

Emma Cottrell: Her watercoulours seek to convey the essence of impulse, mood and emotion.

Maddy Down: 'I have lived in Dorset for 37 years. The mood of its landscape, coastline and skies are a major influence on my art'.

Margaret Martin: Studied painting and drawing at Manchester Art School and later under John Newick. Landscapes and still life in oil and watercolour.

Rod Page: Finely crafted bowls, vases, hollow forms and table lamps turned from selected local timber . www. rodpage-woodturner.co.uk

Baffy Turner: Influenced by John Piper and Edward Ardizzone. Mixed Media paintings and drawings.

Claire Vyner: Figures and landscapes in oil, ink and mixed media.

Lynne Wilson: Sculpts from life, producing vibrant works that draw on her close knowledge of the birds and mammals of West Dorset. She takes commissions, working in bronze and bronze resin, and her sculptures can be seen in a number of private collections.
Sadly Lynne Wilson has passed away and her daughter Clary will be exhibiting her work

All the srtists accept commissions. Prices from £70 - £800.

Very easy access. Short level path from road. Wide double doors. Off road parking right outside studio.
