Jo Burchell

Jo trained at Central Saint Martins in London and now sculpts in barbed wire, steel and copper and more recently has started work in silver.
Tracing the muscles and sinews of the animals that are her subject matter, these sculptures are fluid & energetic. Ranging in scale from minatures to over life size, they are on first viewing figuratively accurate yet loose enough in their drawing to capture the essence of the animal & portray a presence without dominating a space.
Pretty garden, lovely pub in village.
