Boilerhouse Gallery
Boilerhouse gallery is run by a group of Purbeck artists, several of whom have studios on site. On display is an eclectic exhibition of 2D and 3D artwork. The gallery still has many traces of its industrial past. We are pleased to have three guest artists exhibiting with us for Art Weeks; Aline Johnson, Nick Crutchfield and Tony Kerins who all have strong links with the gallery.
The Swanage to Corfe steam train stops outside the door. It's a short walk from the village centre via the footbridge at the station. It also lies at the foot of the line of hills that lead from Swanage. Visitors arriving by train, or with muddy boots are welcomed and there is also parking. During Art Weeks, refreshments will be available.
Boilerhouse Gallery is open throughout the year, in season on Fridays and Saturdays from 10.00 - 5.00. Details about changing exhibitions and special events can be found on the website. Work on display ranges in price from £2.00 to £900. Commissions taken. Come and visit Corfe's best kept secret.
