30 Victoria Jardine and Rebecca Stanley
Ceramics and painting
Victoria works in stoneware and each piece is handbuilt, predominantly coiled. Her pots are a playful exploration of form where the usual notion of pot belly is transformed into 'corset'. Whilst firmly rooted in ceramic tradition, severe angles and bold contrasts produce an aesthetic that is striking and forward looking.
Rebecca is a figurative artist, working mainly in watercolour. She started as Becky Unwin, illustrating for Dorset Life Magazine and freelancing for schools, agencies and local companies. Her foray into oils shows a relaxed, colourful and more impressionist development in her career.
Glenwood House is adjacent to the Longburton traffic lights.
