86 Rita Brown
Mixed Media Contemporary Abstract Paintings
Rita Brown's abstract paintings have their origins in the natural beauty of Dorset. The beautiful colours and unusual textures in her work express the eroded surfaces of ancient places and natural forms. Her time living in the Far East and practice of Ikebana has developed a contemporary aesthetic of simplicity and finding beauty in the imperfect.
During your visit you will see work in progress and finished pieces. Framed canvases and panels, smaller works on paper and cards for sale. Her studio is set within the garden of an 18C stone lodge house in the picturesque village of Frampton.
Turn at Frampton Village Green to Southover. Over the wooden bridge. First stone house on left with weather vane. Park on drive or village green.
