Ceramics for contemplation or everyday use. Franny’s work is eloquent, tactile and expressive. ‘I am aiming for narrative in my work, but it means a lot to me that the language of ceramics doesn’t rely on words. It’s about using the sense of touch to make objects that communicate feelings. I want emotional experiences to be embodied in material objects, and to resonate in a physical space. It’s a story about the meaning of things.’
