Within DVA, The Salon Collective , Making Dorset and The Interrogating Project Group are groups of DVA members formed to support different aspects of their professional development through peer reviews, collaborations and exhibitions. Whilst all members have a presence on the DVA website, the ‘Project Groups’ have recently started to form online exhibitions on the site and are now working on sharing work through e-books . Importantly for Dorset, the organisation will manage a lively visual arts programme at Sherborne House when its renovation is complete in Autumn 2023. The building will then be known as The Sherborne . Dorset Art Weeks has become DVA’s flagship event, reputedly the largest open studio event in the UK. After the frustrations of the Covid years, we sincerely hope you enjoy its proper return this year.
