WELCOME TO DAW 2018
Last year marked 25 years since the original Dorset Art Week event
took place back in 1992 - how time flies! Artists have come and gone
but some remain the same and have been loyal to the event for many
years. We have seen careers go from strength to strength, welcomed
emerging artists and can look back with pride to those who are no
longer with us.
We have marked this occasion by giving the event a new
contemporary design. We hope you will enjoy this fresh new look,
with a new website and a new designer, ready to look forward to the
next 25 years!
Please use this unique opportunity to tour the county’s back roads
and country lanes, as well as the conurbations of Bournemouth and
Poole. Interact with artists about their processes and what inspires
them, as well as seeing finished works on display.
As you can see from the growing venue numbers, the event
continues to thrive. We hope you enjoy DAW 2018 and please follow
