311. Inspired by Nature: The Kingcombe Centre
PAINTING, SCULPTURE, PHOTOGRAPHY, TEXTILES
Nestled in the heart of an ancient landscape, Dorset Wildlife Trust’s
Kingcombe Centre provides a hub for creative arts and crafts and offers a
wide variety of residential and day workshops throughout the year. Visitors
can experience a varied collection of painting, sculpture and photography
in our studio and gardens. A percentage of all sales directly contribute to
the conservation work carried out by Dorset Wildlife Trust. The
surrounding nature reserve will give visitors the opportunity to discover
the ancient wildflower meadows providing a rich tapestry of sound, colour
and sights. Our café will be open during the event and we can provide
excellent Bed and Breakfast rates for those wishing to use us as a centre
whilst you explore West Dorset and other Dorset Art Weeks attractions.
We aim to offer a DAW package for those wishing to use our
accommodation during the art weeks period.
