154. Boilerhouse Gallery @ Sandy Hill Lane Studios

GALLERY AND ARTISTS’ STUDIOS

An artist-run gallery and studios open throughout the year, showcasing

original and engaging work in a wide range of media. From small craft

items to a large statement piece there will be something for everyone.

Set in a unique location in the beautiful isle of Purbeck, next to a working

steam railway station, a stone's throw from Corfe Castle. The village is

just over the railway footbridge.

There is also parking available.

The gallery is at the start of the footpath that leads up to Nine Barrow

Down and the walk along the ridge to Swanage. The Boilerhouse Gallery

is a co-operative of 10 artists, representing an eclectic mix of disciplines,

most now with studios on site: ceramics, glass, photography, painting,

jewellery, stone, sculpture, metal and textiles. Take a wander round this

creative hub, admire the views, grab a coffee and cake in our pop-up

café and meet artists at work in their studios - an opportunity to discuss

methods and inspiration, or even commission a piece of individual

artwork.

We regularly host a diverse range of artist-led workshops on site, check

out our website and facebook page for details.
