183. Moignes Court, Owermoigne
3 SCULPTORS, 1 PAINTER
Four figurative artists exhibit at Moignes Court, a 13th century manor
house.
Alex Cree makes keenly observed oil paintings of still life, landscape and
narrative subjects. Neith Art uses chainsaw and chisel to make lively and
charismatic wood carvings. Andrew Warner makes beautifully articulated
clay figures cast in plaster or bronze. Holly Hickmore specialises in
recreating the majesty of horses and other animals.
Take the sculpture trail through the woods, watch a chainsaw carving
demonstration and try your hand at life drawing in our family workshop
(see Events pages for further details). Children will love the playground
and craft corner.
