225. Artwey at Weymouth Old Town Hall
VARIETY OF ART FORMS
Artwey CIC is once again opening temporary studios in the 18th century
‘Old Town Hall’ on Weymouth’s original High Street. This unique historic
site dates back to Elizabeth I. A group of ten artists will be exhibiting.
Visitors will see a mix of high quality painting, printmaking, mixed media,
ceramics / sculpture and fine art textiles. Subject matter spans
representational, contemporary landscapes and seascapes, alongside
studies of nature and also more abstract work.
All artists will be on site at various times and will be happy to talk to
visitors about their inspiration, techniques and give insight into their
approaches. All artwork, prints and cards will be for sale, a proportion of
the takings going to the Old Town Hall CIC.
