Fleet the flowers, the birds, the
butterflies and the weather.
Seascapes with rough raging seas
and the calm of a beautiful beach
feature in my work.

Using an ancient medium in a
contemporary textural, layered
form. Evocative images drawn
from nature, memory and
abstraction. Allowing the wax’s
unique properties to determine
the outcomes. Exhibition at The
Hayloft. Demonstrations at my
workshop nearby.

COASTAL, NAUTICAL AND
NATURE
Hilary lives in Langton Herring, has
recently retired from dentistry and
cohosts Chesil Rocks music festival
in her garden. Her art includes
coastal / nautical scenes, sketching
musicians, watercolours of flowers
and exhibits vibrant oils at the
Gallery of Caribbean Art.

Directions: From the B3157 Weymouth to
Portesham Road, turn left at Langton Cross
towards Langton Herring. At the start of the
village turn left again opposite the telephone
kiosk (on right), continue along this road past
the Elm Tree pub on your right and after
100m go straight up the gravel drive to
Higher Farmhouse. Access: The studio is on
the ground floor and there is access from the
garden and gravel drive.
