NEW WORK + ARTIST’S BOOKS BY DVA’S SALON AND
INTERROGATING PROJECT ARTISTS
The exhibition features exemplar artworks by members of DVA’s new
Salon grouping and a lively representation of work by DVA’s Interrogating
Project Group. It includes work in progress, sketchbooks and artists’
books for visitors to handle.
The Interrogating Projects Group ’s interests link to familiar, broad
themes in art, for example: landscape, built environments, biographical
events. The exhibition focuses on research, experimentation and
processes. The Salon is a newly formed selected group of DVA members
with a strong track record in one or more areas of professional practice:
exhibiting, teaching, academia or curatorial experience, commissioning
and residencies. It is open also to writers with experience of engaging
with the visual arts.

PAINTING
Based at Bridport’s cloud9studio,
Chris works in various media and
in a diversity of styles and subject,
including studies of the local area.
He has sold through Dorset and
London galleries, as well as
enjoying numerous private sales
and commissions.

Taking natural themes for
inspiration, Sue uses paper, both
in collage and as papier mache to
create bold, colourful and vibrant
pieces, experimenting with paint,
ink and pastel to complete the
image.
