More studios are at the other end of the red brick building. Go up the

covered outside stairs at the far end. On the first floor you’ll find Squirrell

Bindery & Press and on the second floor there’s the Studio in the Attic

with digital artist Sally Davies, portrait painter Elizabeth Sporne and

photographer Neil Barnes. Then go back down the stairs and across the

road to find the Green Shack with ceramic sculptor Jennie Hanrahan then

up the metal stairs opposite, to hat-maker Fiona Neylan. Two more artists

are in the yard on the other side of the red brick building. Walk back to

St Michael’s Lane, turn right, then right again into the yard that splits off

from Foundry Lane to find the studios of ceramic sculptor Isla Chaney

and painter Rob Morgan. We will also have maps available with directions

to all the studios and full details of individual artist opening times.

Directions:

The studios are in and around a big red building with square tower in the Art &

Vintage Quarter of the St Michael’s Trading Estate. From Bridport town centre, turn off South

Street down narrow Gundry Lane, turn right at the bottom, then take the first left.

Access:

Steep stairs to most studios, some are on the ground floor.
