At Hanford we celebrate the Arts
across the school from ages 7 to
13. We experiment and create
vibrant and eclectic work using
skills in drawing, painting,
printmaking, pottery, 3D, textiles
and dressmaking.

Born in Stockholm in 1943, Göran
is an acclaimed artist throughout
Scandinavia. He has an extensive
knowledge of drawing,
watercolour, printing and
lithography. Now living in Dorset,
he is inspired by its villages with
traditional buildings, its harbours
and seascapes.

FURNITURE RE-DESIGN AND
EMBELLISHMENT
Edie-Mae’s is nestled at the floor
of the Iron Age Hill fort Hod Hill,
situated in an Area of
Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Claire Palmer will be displaying
re-designed furniture and home
accessories. She undertakes
commissions and has worked on
fine art collaborations with other
local Dorset artists.

International demonstrator and
tutor for television, magazines
and online, Alison’s studio is a
constant source of inspiration. An
experimental mixed media painter
based on watercolour techniques,
Alison uses the Dorset
countryside to interpret her love
of texture and colour.
