Artisan House

PRINTS, PAINTING AND POTS

Joseph Nuttgens

is a well established stained glass artist, now making

linocuts, woodcuts and paintings. He finds a correlation between glass

and the transparency of watercolours. In his prints he explores themes of

life and love. In all his work he involves himself in a visionary and sensory

world.

Lucy Yarwood

creates large decorated plates, bowls and jugs, as well as

a range of domestic ware. Current work explores themes of life, love and

nature in the form of scraffito decorated plates in earthenware. Form and

surface work together, reflecting an appreciation of pottery’s historical

place as an artform.
